Turfection is a sod company that has been built to serve San Antonio and the surrounding communities. We are a fifth-generation farming family who prides itself on finding the right grass for our clients with first-class customer service. The farm has been in the Schwartz family for over 14 years and in that time has produced a number of crops, including of course turfgrass, which has become our most exciting product.
Celebration® Bermudagrass is a deep blue-green turf grass that has finished best in numerous university research studies for wear tolerance and recovery, drought resistance and tolerance, and bermudagrass shade tolerance. Found in professional and college sports venues, golf courses and home lawns, Celebration Bermudagrass is currently being used throughout the southern United States and around the world.
Palisades is a medium to coarse textured zoysiagrass known for its drought tolerance. It is a highly dense turf that is used oftentimes for home lawns. One main reason Palisades Zoysia is used for homes is because of its low maintenance requirements. Because of its quick establishment rate and recuperative ability it is very wear tolerant and can be used in even some of the more trafficked home lawns.
