Patrick Dickinson, Horticulturist & Landscape Designer
Patrick Dickinson holds over 20 years of experience in landscape design and management, working at both Texas government agencies and private companies. With an eye for design and a keen knowledge of plants, Dickinson designs creative outdoor living spaces that are not only beautiful, but easy to maintain with maximum water efficiency. His areas of expertise include plant selection, landscape water use efficiency, rainwater harvesting, irrigation design, drip irrigation, and new technology. He often shares his wide range of knowledge by conducting CEU training for landscape architects, licensed irrigators, as well as nurserymen and rainwater harvesting specialists. Dickinson received his bachelor’s degree in horticulture with an emphasis in business and design from Tarleton State University. He is a TCEQ-licensed irrigator, rainwater harvesting specialist, and board member of the Dallas Irrigation Association. Dickinson has frequently been featured as a leading plant expert on the Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliate station, WFAA.
